What I like about this resort is that it is one of the few properties in Koh Lipe that are eco-friendly. Apart from the 100% natural building materials, the resort uses high water, pest, and waste management standards to keep the hotel clean and environment-friendly.

Being eco-friendly is not without drawbacks. Each room does not have air conditioning, a hot water shower, and a television.

A lack of air conditioning may be scary at first, but, based on my experience, not a cause of concern. The sea breeze is enough to keep you cool during the day, while the temperature drops sharply during the night, so you will rarely feel the heat. In fact, when I visit the Andaman sea, I rarely turn on the aircon.

Suppose your room is still too hot. Just turn on the Thai-style ceiling fan. The fan alone substitutes the aircon pretty well.

Staying there will allow you to immerse yourself in nature more than in any other resort.
